We all knew that Apple has delayed white iPhone 4 for three times, first when it announced it in July, then in August till later this year and from about two days until spring 2011. We also got some reports that it was canceled by Apple. So, while waiting for a 'white iPhone 5', let's have some fun with a banned white iPhone 4 promo video.

Unfortunately, earlier today, we were shocked by a new report that a representitve from the Cupertion based company has informed Reuters that white iPhone 4 delayed until spring of 2011. That was really shocking!

Here is a bit of good news! The long overdue White iPhone 4 has been finally hits the Apple Store, last night Apple released an update to the Apple Store iPhone app but without any new features, the update was the ability to reserve the white iPhone 4.

Simply you have to navigate to the store then select "Reservations" > "Reserve Product" now you are able to select the white iPhone 4 16GB or 32GB configurations. In fact the white iPhone 4 still not available for purchasing from the Apple Store, but this indicates that its release time became imminent. So keep your eyes open. [via BGR]

If you’ve been waiting for a white iPhone 4, you’ll wait more. Today's reports from Pocket-lint shows a real white iPhone 4 spotted in New York. They spotted a reporter at a recent press event using his white iPhone 4. They went near to him and they asked about the way he got it, he answered that a friend of his at Apple HQ hooked him up with the device. Then, they asked him about the reason of delay.

Well, according to our jacket wearing gent, Apple is having trouble getting its two suppliers in the Far East to match the white used in the manufacturing of the parts. The white home button colour doesn’t match the white front face plate colour, it turns out.

There have been a lot of reasons floating on the web as color issues and light leak. In my opinion, I don't think that this home button would take much. Well, I don't think that Apple would delay a device for months because of matching the color of a button. What do you think?

That would be great if we saw Walmart the consumer giant, stocking White iPhone 4 in the next couple of days. Very interesting photo taken at Walmart stores from PocketNow shows White 16GB iPhone 4 for a price of $197 with a qualifying two year agreement. Many Walmarts have the Black 16GB iPhone 4 in stock now for the same price of $197.

There's no specific date for White iPhone 4 launch but Apple announced it will be launched on the end of 2010 (no, not Christmas). Two months ago, Apple announced that they delayed the White iPhone 4 launch till the end of 2010, this was due to color issues, antenna issues and more. We are just three months away from the end of 2010, so Christmas would be the best time for White iPhone 4 launch?

Update 1: The mail you saw above is completely FAKE. as the user who submitted the report to the blogs, has publicly admitted and had created everything as a kind of "joke". He also apologized because he never imagined this result.
Therefore we can say that there are no official news about the launching date for the white iPhone, but Apple has always said that the device would be released in late 2010, so we still expected we will see it in Christmas or may be earlier.

Apple announced in brief Statement today that they are going to delay the White iPhone 4 again, They didn't mention a date or a specific time to the release. They Said that it will be sometime later this year.

White models of Apple’s new iPhone® 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.

Engadget claims the reasons behind White iPhone 4 Delay, The reason is problem in the paint application process for the device's glass front and back panels. Lens Technology the company behind the production of iPhone 4 is working on this issue to achieve the best for Apple users.

Specifically, the factory’s still working out the perfect combination of paint thickness and opacity — the former to ensure the next sub-contractor has enough clearance for the digitizer overlay, and the latter for the absolute whiteness that Jony Ive and co. strive for. As we pointed out before, the prototype white covers we acquired appeared a touch darker than the iPhone 4 dock, so here’s hoping that we’ll see a better result when the official white phone comes out later this month.
